any interest in a blind blade test?

I believe the way they have worked in the past is that a significant other would load the blade into your razor without you ever knowing what the blade was.

I'd be more interested in a blind soap test using all unscented soaps in sample size.

It could but it would be worth it. Another forum tried to do it but from what I read they actually announced the brands being used, which completely defeats the purpose. They also used scented from what I recall. lol.

I did this with Yohann years ago. It was my last attempt to find a DE blade that worked for me. Needless to say, none did & my face has not suffered the shred of a DE blade since.

And, sadly, I don't think there are enough SE blades out there to make such a test for them practical. Sad

Personally I really like the idea. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your prospective I am currently single and live alone. It would truly be a blind test as in me wearing a blindfold and picking a blade out of a bag unwrapping and loading the razor. I have a feeling the test would  be painful, bloody and probably end with me on the Darwin Award list. (Do they still do that?)

Actually I could have a friend or family member do it for me.

It's already been done and the Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless won. That's the green one made in Russia and not the green one from India:

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

This has been done other places before. But if you want to do it go for it if it makes you happy. If you do do it I will read it.

we'll probably be passing on this for now. maybe a blind unscented soap test would be more appealing.
