Hey, I was not around much while renovating my house, but I bought a satin TiBird with an OC plate the moment I became aware of the option! Just for the record!  Big Grin I also just gave into temptation and picked up the anodized OC plate to go with the razor and stand orders. Yes, I realize I probably spent a lot of extra money by placing three separate orders for the anodized bits instead of buying it all at once.  Rolleyes

Granted, I'll never buy a long handle even if it is offered ....

I don't do that after every shave, but I would never sell a razor without thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing it.

Just writing to thank Shane for offering the lite plate for the Blackbird. It’s perfect for me, I have found the one.
Although I’m disappointed the Ti plate doesn’t fully match the machine finish on my Ti Blackbird. Flat out the most comfortable razor I have ever used. My search is over.

Possible to share clear picture of the new lite base plate with the razor. Like you, I am also a sucker for matching thematics on hardware /software. Thanks in advance.

Shane, very happy to see the brass BB back!
What is the weight comparison between it and the SS? (SB versions)

Brass is about 7% denser and weighs ~101g compared to 94g for stainless.

Shane, will we have the Blackbird Aluminum one in the near future? Or is this not part of your plans?
