My 4th shave with the Blackbird Ti and a Voshkod was much better.
Significantly less irritation.
I did pay way more attention to NOT using any pressure.
Huh! Go Figure…

Then today’s shave was with my brass Blackbird and another new Voshkod.
Zipped right through the shave. 2 pass BBS…perfect shave.
Seems that I like heavier razors?

PS…I hated both the Aluminum and Ti Henson as well as the Aluminum Lupo. (love the SS Lupo)

Try using your brass handle on the titanium head. I don’t like the short titanium handle so I put my SS 101mm handle on the titanium head and love that combo. I sold my titanium Henson because of the drag it had in use and I also love the new SS Lupo DC. Don’t give up on that titanium BB.

I would be tempted to buy a Titanium Blackbird, if I could get one with a 70 mm handle.  If not, I'll stick with my old 303 SS.  Seriously though, I think if you made a limited number of both 70 & 101 mm handles in Titanium, they would sell out.
I second this. I like my 70mm bird. I thought it would be too short, but I was wrong.

Voskhods work really good in the BB.
I use Personna labs in all of my razors, but I prefer voskhod with my BB.

Different strokes for different folks. I read the posts above recommending Voskhods, and I have some, liked them in the past in other razors so tried one in my Ti BB. Good smooth shave. Trouble was it only lasted 5-6 hours before I felt stubble returning.

In the morning I popped a new Feather in there and got a 12 hour smooth shave. I too wish that Shane would offer the long BB handle in Ti. I'd for sure be a buyer. The standard handle works well enough but I normally use the long handle on my SS birds.

As we say in Wisconsin…Oh For The Cripes!
Yesterday I got an amazing BBS shave with the Ti BB/Voshkod!
(Stirling Mountain Man and a Yaqi silvertip)
2 passes, very minimal touch ups.
This time I trusted the razor more and used very, very little pressure.
Who say you can’t teach an old fart a new trick?
It’s a keeper!

AND I NOTICED JUST NOW…

I used Stirling Mountain Man, which is a dupe for Creed Silver Mountain Water…which is the same AS that Dragonsbeard used in his OP photo…
So using proper scientific principals…it was the scent that works for a BB Ti!
(I can’t afford the actual Creed…)
