Last two shaves have been with the KAI blade. And quite simply, they have been excellent. A slight boost in blade feel & efficiency while STILL remaining exceptionally smooth on the face whether ATG, XTG or WTG. The Tradere SB benefits with the KAI SS installed therefore giving one (the user) a bit more of blade feel, an increase in audible feedback and being super smooth and soft on the face in giving a BBS finish in both shaves. Stubble took a bit longer to regrow extending the duration of the shave by about 2 hours. Not bad at all....

Wish you had gone with the OC?

GlazedBoker Gus good review and info as usual. Since you’ve had a couple of shaves with the SB which is the one I have my eye on since I’ve got the original Gen 1 OC and I’m looking to replace my stupidly sold original 2nd Gen SB where would you put the efficiency and smoothness when compared to a Timeless .95 or CG Level 2?
You know I respect your opinion my friend.
Thank you!

It is not overly aggressive and for an OC still smooth on the face. I feel the original Blackbird SB is more aggressive.

Hey Frankie,
Thanks amigo, much appreciated. Before I used the Tradere with the KAI, I thought that it felt similar to a CG L2 with just a tad bit less blade feel while being smoother and easier on the face. And that was with a Feather, which still was an excellent shave. A bit muted but, still a super nice shave. The last two shaves with the KAI have moved the Tradere closer to the CG L2 in performance and still it’s really smooth. And to be honest, I like the shave from the Tradere & KAI combo over the Charcoal Goods SS L2 regardless of blade. I still think the L2 might give a tiny bit more blade feel but, it ain’t by much over the Blackland Tradere. I’m just impressed with the overall quality of shave with the Tradere from Blackland especially with the KAI....

No, no regrets. I have plenty of OC’s in my den that are aggressive & extremely aggressive. I wasn’t in the search for a super efficient razor. I just wanted the Blackland Tradere because of its unique design and finding an original is near impossible at a reasonable cost. I’m satisfied with the quality of shave it provides while still exhibiting excellent comfort in use.....
I got my order today, too. the packaging is great. the mail couldn't damage her. And I will tell you, delivery to Russia was extremely fast!
The first sensations, excellent boxes, as always, are branded for this company. Great, no, great polishing of the razors themselves. look great. The fact that the handles are screwed without pads and the place where the handle touches the head is a little scratched was a little disappointing, but I can fix it myself. I got a branded sticker, I used it if you don't mind. I'm happy, thank you guys! success and prosperity to your production.

Forgive my English.
