Sharp_Obsession Awesome Black Eagles! Thanks for sharing! Is that the Cheetah handle on the right? I have a Lion and elephant and want a Cheetah handle bad. What are you initial thoughts on the brush and the knots? Happy Shaves?
A sublime wet shave is one of life's little joys! Happy Shaving!!

Yes, the Quartz or Albino as I like to call it is the Cheetah. I like both of them a lot. The knots are really comparable to my favorites and demonstrate just the slightest gel tip qualities. I would say Declaration and Brad Sears Finest are slightly softer with more gel tip properties. However, I would say the Black Eagles a just a little softer and have more gel tip qualities than my 2 Paladin 2CLSD5 knots. All of these brushes are spectacular though.

I am really enjoying the Cheetah. I love the handle shape and size and it has a denser knot in it that Brad was playing with. I am a sucker for a dense, soft knot with chosen loft for good backbone. I like the Lion but it feels smaller than I expected in both stature and knot (size, density, etc.). Still both are great brushes.

Thanks for all of your help with brushes.

Sharp_Obsession Yes sir you are mighty welcome! Thanks for the feedback and breakdown. Next you need to try one of his fans. They feel like a Shavemac Silvertip 2-band which is one of my favorite knots along with Brad Sears, Paladin E5 and Declaration B5. Happy Shaving!

Received the Halloween LE fan this week. Beautifully made with a terrific knot. It's got a great profile, is dense with soft tips but with enough backbone to whip up a great lather.

My kind of knot with a unique and special handle. I bought this to remember a special someone who I lost last year. She would've loved this! [Image: d0bcf245e3f78fef121ac5da61fb37ca.jpg]

How does one get into contact with Black Eagle? A google search doesn't bring up a website. Facebook? I don't use iG.
