Black Anvil brushes

Hello fellow wet shavers,

I've recently purchased a custom made brush from an Ireland located artist

Since I haven't found any info about this brand on DFS, I've decided to make you a short introduction

I'm a newbie to the wet shaving and all I had was a Zenith synth, which is an excellent brush, but at some point I wanted a Silvertip, so I placed an order for one

The result: "Black Anvil - Fionn in Tuireann Resin", 24mm Sivertip

The shape, colors, light refraction and the glow are amazing and the knot is exactly what I expected for a pleasant face lathering

Stunning brush, congrats!

I too would be curious to know where he sources knots, but since he sells them handle only, it really isn’t a concern.

As far as I know - he buys the knots, he doesn't produce them
But you can ask the artist himself via Facebook or Etsy, i'm sure he'll answer any question!

Thanks for presenting my work. Unclefedor, i hope that you shaving brush is treating you well.
As for the knots i'm using. I've checked good few suppliers from the States and China. I've finally found good ones. As far as I know few other respectable artisan shaving brush makers are using the same source.

Here is my latest shaving brush i've done. This handle is called Fionn. After mythical person from Irish mythology.
