Best combo when I'm sleep-deprived

I've been short on sleep for the last several days and really needing a little extra stimulation to get going in the morning. Cyril Salter French Vetiver cream (smoky, sharp, and strong) followed by the Soap Commander lime & patchouli balm (with plenty of menthol) does the trick nicely.

I have a sample of that cream and agree with your assessment. I've paired it with hawns's Chatillon Lux La Quatrieme Ville aftershave. It also has that exact smoky strong vetiver note right off the top. Good stuff!

Sounds like a great combo. I don't have that cream/aftershave, but a cold water head rinse and some Osage rub in the hair is almost impossible to ignore, no matter how little sleep I've had.

Or shave in the evening just before bed.
5 o'clock shadow in the morning ?
Tell who ever cares, that my beard grows so fast that this will happen 2 hours after the shave.

I haven't tried most of these, except for Speick, which disagreed with my skin for some incomprehensible reason...I have the La Toja cream, is it the same scent? Very nice performer.
