Like I said, good luck finding a BBS-1. The prices are already going up after James/ John terminated their collaboration...

Pretty crazy the prices these are going for. I guess they are considered by some to be collectors items now. I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard that James was redesigning the BBS-1 and was going to offer it for sale in the future. I guess we’ll see. Thankfully there are a ton of excellent Razors from manufacturers that have them readily available and for prices that aren’t so astronomical.

Wow these are the most overrated DE razors of all time. Collector items?? Why they are just DE razors...I guarantee in 5 years from now you can buy a used one for $25 or less.

Because you can use it and then sell it later for more money than you bought it for.

I can tell you I think it is the nicest shaving razor I own, but it could be worth selling to quadruple my intimal purchase price (there's an extremely low likelihood I would part with it). I was out at James' shop a few weeks ago and we were talking about the future and James is plugging away adding stock to the website almost weekly, he would like to bring out new products but he doesn't have much time for R&D but is hoping to in the near future. He would like to bring out a new razor similar to the BBS1 and some really neat other things, he's got some cool ideas and I am hoping that he has the time to make them come to fruition.

I guarantee in 5 years from now you can buy a used one for $25 or less.

You can buy it and sell it at no loss in a heartbeat.

I wish some Chinese manufacture would buy this razor on Ebay and clone it and flood the market with it for $50...wait a minute that is a great idea.

I wouldn't touch that sort of ebay listing with a 10 foot pole wrapped in a condom.
