I'm in no rush. I haven't shaved my head or face in about 3 weeks, lol.

I wanted to check and see if anyone here has used Macduff Soap Co’s ‘Prairie Rum Runner’ Soap/Splash? Obviously not a traditional take on Bay Rum, but sounds like it could be a good one.

I have used both soap and splash. Great base for both and a great scent. Not a traditional bay rum but still one I like.

I like it quite a bit. as you noted, it's not a traditional bay rum but I can still smell the bay rum in it, even if mildly...and for me, the scent itself is long lasting.

if you want longevity with your bay rum, the best I've tried so far in that department is from PAA.

Shaved with PAA Ray Rum The Shaving LE today. Love that stuff. It’s a unique bay rum even by PAA standards.  Happy2

I dug these Bay Rums out the other day. Van Yulay. I used Bay of Roses on Friday and I’m going with the bay Rum today. You don’t see these much anymore but they were hot for a little while. They decorated the top of the soap like fancy cakes. Bay of Roses had a nice pink rose complete with green leaves made out of coloured soap on top. I can recall some complaints when the decoration suffered in transit.  These two have a good bay rum scent to them.

I’ve got a set of Macduff’s Soap/Splash ‘Prarie Rum Runner’ headed my way. I’m excited to check this one out, I’ll report back as soon as I’ve taken it for a spin.

I enjoy that scent. If you're ok with a non-traditional bay rum, I think you might like it.

I used dominicr island estate bay rum soap for my shave on Sunday night...the last shave in my 'old' bathroom before it got gutted to be remodeled yesterday..

I will say, while the bay rum scent isn't my favorite, it's decent and the soap lathered up pretty fast!
