Verrrry interesting Will!  Will definitely stay tuned for both.

I've been on the line about 42 since its initial release due to the floral notes. However I read a description which said it's like Chesire and a fougere had a baby! That made me laugh so I was able to pick it up on IB. Also really love the artwork. You've come a long way since selling pucks on their lonesome.

Isn't this the third annual release of 42? There was the non glissant one two years ago with the original label, then the glissant version last year with the current label and this years second release of the glissant version and the same cool label. People are just trying it for the first time now? Where have they been? What have they been waiting for? You came a long way years ago Will and you are continuing to innovate and evolve - the classic overnight success years in the making. For all of those people just discovering the awesomeness of Barrister and Mann I say What took you so long? Enjoy the ride Smile

I now see a Bay Rum Tonique on the Release schedule as a permanent member of the B&M line. That is excellent news as you may not know this Will, but I am a fan of your Bay Rum. Big Grin

Given it a few shaves now (fast delivery from IB!).  I feel I can detect each influence: at the edges the citrus and slightly acrid alcohol, the black tea in which the amber is either lost or influencing the tea to make it blacker, and then pleasant petunias dominant.  I've decided I do like it although I find the petunias a bit too bright, albeit not cloying like floral scents that put me off.  Personally I would have downplayed the floral just a notch or two.  I'm not calling for what's clearly a summer scent to be akin to Leviathan... just a notch or two darker with a bit more tea and/or amber.   Anyhow, I think I'll enjoy it on the rare Irish sunny day.  Thankfully I still have the original fougere's and lavanille for the remainder of summer days with threatening dark clouds which require that dose of darkness and depth I crave.

TL;DR: I feel the whale (ambergris) played a more dominant part in the story than the petunias who didn't mind anyway.

Will there be any way to ship these internationally?  Perhaps a UK (better yet Irish!) distributor?

Not currently practical. Trying to sell to the UK or EU gets thorny fast, and the business is not great enough that I can really invest that kind of time or expenditure at this point. Perhaps in the future.

And don't mistake labdanum/ambergris for tea. Smile

Barrister_N_Mann  Hey Will, got your email today through newsletter. I have two questions. Has the scent been adjusted on LGC or were some of these scent notes not on the original label before? I remember the scent consisting of citrus, oak moss, rose, frankincense, labdanum. Was it more than just those?

Second, when can I look for the EDT of LGC on your website? I have enough tonique that I may decide to get a backup but would definitely love to get a spritzer of this scent. I got lucky and my buddy sold me his jar of LGC soap. I am almost through my first puck. This stuff is LegitGC!
