Neither. It's a surprise. Smile

nice! I'll definitely be picking up at least a barrister reserve spice soap in whatever soap base you use.

Hey Will, could you tell us a rough ETA for the BR soaps?

This should help.

I'm all down for a soap that smells like floid blue. Looking forward to it.

Agreed. But I'm looking forward to Sun Up (Classic). This has never been done.

I'm speculating a new vegan base

Hmm...Lime Lavender and Cedarwood gives me something to look forward to this year.

Will if you read this, please consider bringing back the Rosemary and Peppermint from Black Label in Glissant. It was my first B&M soap and remains one of my favorite scents ever.

The rosemary and peppermint seems to be extremely popular with many people. I know I would buy it when re-released

I'd like to see something like a bourbon tobacco scent. I bet Will would make an extremely good one.

I thought about it, but no, no vegan bases. I can tell you without question that, all other things being equal, if you have the same scent in both a tallow base and a vegan base, the tallow will outsell the vegan at a rate of about two to one every single time. Other soap makers who've offered both can confirm this. Smile

I doubt we'll bring it back. It was very difficult to sell when we released Black Label, and no one really seemed that interested in it. There are other things on which it makes more sense for us to focus. Sorry guys.

I learned my lesson about tobacco scents with Roam. It's not terribly likely that we will do another one in the near future. Might do a Drambuie soap, though. Been kicking that idea around for awhile.
