People don't like anise? I don't know. I thought it smelled great.

On the subject of the color of Night Music and its propensity to stain things, I highly recommend that you folks read my article on vanillin, if you haven't already: https://blog.barristersreserve.com/2017/...-vanillin/

Thanks for putting that up again. If the risk of a little temporary discoloration is the price for having Lavanille in the den? I will gladly pay it.

I should note that synthetic brushes are not subject to a discoloration risk. As someone who sticks primarily to synthetic brushes these days, I feel that I miss nothing from animal hair, and gain quite a bit. Smile

I never noticed before that Latha Limon has rose in it. That citrus/rose combo sounds really nice. How noticeable is the rose? Also, I don't see an aftershave for it -- was there ever one?

I just used 42 again tonight. I am inclined to say this about many of the B&M fragrances, but honestly, 42 has got to be one of my favorite fragrances. I look forward to this coming out again.

Barrister_N_Mann I know the tub will be the new one, but will the art still be the Katie Wolford art? How about the towels? Are they the same, or has the style changed? I'm happy you're just outright selling them instead of requiring a $100 purchase (although, with that order, it probably won't be hard to do.)

With regard to this fragrance. I've never smelled anything like this, but I'm not a frag head. Other than the notes being a very cool homage to Hitchhiker's Guide, is 42 like anything else out there? And here's the obligatory: "Do you ever intend to offer 42 in an EdT?" It's a real masterpiece.

The art will indeed still be Katie's illustration and the towels will not change. Smile There's nothing out there that resembles 42 so far as I know, but we ARE considering releasing an EdT.

What do you guys think? EdT or no?

I say yes! And also. I'd love a Cologne Russe EDT.

Do it. The EDT for night music is fantastic.

Another big fan of 42 here — a truly enjoyable scent. Sign me up for the EdT anytime.

I love the 42 soap but for some reason the AS makes me nauseous. I even wore it one day and my wife asked what the disgusting smell was. Lol.
