I've been circling it for a while now, so I'm hoping it works for me. My wife has a picky nose, so we'll see if it passes the ultimate test. Big Grin

Dave, I hope your wife and you like it.  I took a chance because the scent description intrigued me.  It was my first of Will's glissant formula.   I also ordered a sample of the aftershave (from Maggard).  When I received them I was amazed at the glissant formulation but wasn't too sure about the scent.  After a couple of shaves, I'm hooked.  In fact, the sample of the aftershave is gone but the full bottle I ordered to replace it should be waiting for me when I get home from Los Angeles today Big Grin.  Some of the Barrister_N_Mann scents seem to need more than one go to appreciate.  If you do try it, let us know what you, and your wife think. Smile

While I can't place any orders today due to paypal being dead, I can still come here and talk about B&M. So, I've been eyeballing the Latha Taiga aftershave, but I wonder what the differences will be between this and the upcoming First Snow, as far as scent goes. Anyone?

Also, any chance we will ever see Ferox again? I just came across a description of it that got me intrigued; I liked the list of herbal notes in there. Is there anything comparable in the current line, or anything upcoming? Something with a healthy dose of aromatic herbs sounds nice.

The soaps are pretty different. Taiga is full-on Christmas tree; First Snow is subdued trees, as if the scent were carried to you on the wind, mixed with leather. I'm looking forward to its return-with splash!

Re: Ferox. I, too, was intrigued by the scent description. I obtained the soap.....and was promptly disappointed. I had expected it to be a bright fresh grapefruit-forward scent, and it is not. I get the tea tree big time. If that's a scent you're interested in, and more of an earthy herbal scent, you might like it.

There wasn't anything wrong with the soap or scent. Rather, it simply wasn't what I thought it would be in my mind. I've spoken to Will about Ferox availability and it doesn't seem likely to return.

Hope that helps. Good luck.

Hmm, both sound nice. I can see where this is headed....

Tea tree oil is such a powerful scent, I imagine it must be difficult to capture its essence without letting it take over. But yes, I think I'd enjoy an earthy herbal scent, or another citrus and herbal scent like Ferox. The grapefruit in the description sounded nice, too.

Also, lately I'm on a lime kick, but haven't found anything I love yet. Are there any great vintage lime-centric aftershaves that would be suitable for future Barrister's Reserve consideration?
