I watched this movie the other day off of a top 100 list of some website.

Thought of you Will. Not in the serial murder sort of way either.

I will second the request for a run of Nocturne. It's such a great fall scent Smile

In all seriousness. Awesome. If I could "love" a post, I would. These are the fascinating stories I appreciate hearing about how your scents come to be. You sir, should write a book sometime!

I'm told that I'm very engaging when talking about perfume in person, so I've actually been thinking of starting a YouTube channel where I talk about perfume, perfume history, my scents, other people's scents, etc. Thank you very much for the kind words. Smile

I miss reading the scent blog you used to have on your website.  You did a few in your newsletter but I liked having the blogs all archived in one place.  I also liked reading new ones periodically.  I think a youtube channel where you did your blogs in person would be very cool.

We got basically no engagement from it, which is why I stopped. It was not worth my time to continue to write if so few people were reading it. YouTube may be the better option, though.

May I make a request though?

Please bring back Nocturne, for next fall, or something like it, with spice and apples and leaves. Something that smells like fall festival.

I'll give it some thought! I missed Nocturne myself.

Probably 25% of the people I talk to about perfume either mention the movie or the book. It's kind of funny, actually. Big Grin I've actually never read it or seen it, but I keep hearing that I ought to. Is it good?

I thought it was great! But I also think a YouTube channel would be awesome

I enjoyed Dustin Hoffman in it.

The movie is a bit bizarre.

A good immersion piece when you have time to kill.

Some tongue in cheek moments here and there and somewhat engaging at other times actually.

There is some visual grotesqueness, especially in the beginning.

It's a period piece that's grimy and delicately beautiful at different levels.

I enjoyed it.

Yeah I get that, a one way conversation with no way of knowing if anybody was actually reading it and no mechanism to facilitate focussed engagement. Youtube will be much better and there is the comment section (or as I call it, the peanut gallery).

BTW, shaved with Nocturne this morning...Happy2

I would buy Nocturne if it returns for an encoure.

I missed Roam and the Hallows pre-order so I need to pay my penance to the soap spirits.

I am soooooooo holding out for the Cheshire glissant formula shaving soap.  It cannot come soon enough.  Barrister_N_Mannany chance of a Cheshire Barrister Reserve aftershave?  I would be so on board for that. Big Grin  There is not one B&M product that I have been dissapointed in but Chesire is, well, swoonable. Tongue
