Barrister and Mann

Will, what percentage of users would you estimate had allergy issues with kyovu?  I was at your site and notice its been taken back to the lab for a tune up.  What is the ingredient that seems to be the culprit?  I'm looking forward to the new kyovu.  

Also, how is the special project aftershave coming along?

In order:

1) I'd say probably 15%. The problem with Kyovu's original design is that it contained juniper hydrosol, and it turns out that juniper allergies are FAR more common that I had thought. There were also problems with the emulsifier, which caused the stuff to foam and feel sticky, so we're stripping the entire formula down and upgrading it in order to turn it into the ultimate post-shave product for sensitive skin. It will be quite something when it's complete.

2) We expect to release the initial run of Barrister's Reserve within the next two months. Due to shipping constraints and quirks about how the product line and its supporting systems have been designed, the first run might remain just within the US, but I'm hoping to get it into Canada, Australia, and the EU as quickly as possible. At this point, it's just a few loose ends to tie up before we greenlight production.

Wow, 15% is a lot of people. I'm looking forward to the new kyovu and eventually the new Barrister's Reserve. You certainly have been busy not resting on your laurels. I love that you continue to innovate and improve notwithstanding that your status quo was already awesome. If you ever get to the point where the company is planning an IPO, let me know. I'd love to get on on the ground floor!

A bad barrister joke (you know that in Canada a barrister is a lawyer that goes to court while a solicitor is a lawyer that does all the other non-court stuff - the joke - Old barristers never die, they just lose their appeal!

We're very seriously considering bringing it back next year. There will be more info on that front as we complete other projects.

Please do bring it back, the darn things sold out so fast in Canada before I got a chance to buy them.  We need Le Grand Chypre and Hallows supplied to Canada in decent quantities next time around please.  I don't ask for much do I?

Well, Hallows is going to be done the way we did 42: pre-orders, heavy vendor distribution, the works. I'll keep you guys updated about LGC.
