Barrister and Mann Seville in the Reserve base!

I have yet to try the reserve base, is it really that much better than the Glissant?

I really enjoy the Reserve base myself. It's also quite different to most soaps in that you need a very light load. Ten seconds or so is enough, it paints on thinly and then just explodes with good lather as you feed it water. Well worth looking into!

Last update says it's 10 aftershaves away from being green lit.

I'm kind of interested, but the Lavender part of the description puts me off a bit, as I don't think of that as being Barbershop.
Can anyone give some input as to the scent? Maybe compare to some other known classics?

I'll probably be in for a soap & aftershave. haven't tried the reserve soap base yet but the aftershave is fantastic and I'm almost out of my bottle of the cool AS.

It’s my favorite barbershop.....by a WIDE margin. I can’t smell any lavender. Never knew it was there until you mentioned it. Can’t reallly compare it with anything else. It’s rather unique. A barbershop with a slight circus. It’s outstanding imo....ymmv.

Thanks for the heads up. I was able to place an order for the soap and AS before the deadline.

The discontinued Latha Limon smelled very similar to Seville and worked as well (if not a little better for my mug). I can imagine the Seville in a Reserve base would be simply storybook. However, I hate limited runs of anything as once it's gone the post-partum depression sinks in.

Anyone know for sure when it will be ready? Initially heard mid-July. Anything more definite?
