Do you know if they will become part of the regular line up or just a once-a-year deal?
I'm pretty sure they will be regulars. Fern is set to release in September. Not sure about the Lavender though.

The soap formula matches the aftershave formula in that they are both outstanding. Definitely some of my favorite products.

I concur. I have the Reserve Cool soap and aftershave, and both were phenomenal. I really think when I worked up the lather, it was the best I've ever had with a shaving soap.
I have samples of the other two - Spice and Classic - but have not used them yet. But based on how good Cool is, I'd go for it.

For me, the aftershaves are amazing. (I have full bottles of Cool and Classic and a sample of Spice, which I have not tried yet.) While the soaps are excellent, I do not care for this new formula. Yes, you can build an excellent lather but with more fuss. So far, for me, Barrister & Mann hit platinum with the glissant formula and gold with the white label and latha formulas. The reserve formula is silver, still a winner but just not as good as the others.
Keep in mind, I am speaking just for myself. As I have mentioned elsewhere, my tub of Reserve Cool will be used and has already been used two or three times. It just doesn't wow me the way the other B&M formulas do.
I'm the opposite of you Freddy. My order would go Reserve > White Label/Latha (about the same) > Glissant. Every time I used a Glissant, I would get a slightly airier lather no matter what brush I used. I could never get that dense, shiny, yogurty lather out of it. I guess it could be my water, but I don't have hard water or anything. It just lacked the protection of the others in my experience. I will eventually revisit them though because I love Seville and Cheshire.

September is going to be a real rough month for me. Too many amazing releases from Will that month! I've been waiting for this one and now that I know about Fern, it's going to be one glorious acquisition!
It's been to long not to have tried the reserves yet, though!
Agreed, wholeheartedly! Glissant is an outstanding formula. I've been waiting for the release of Chesire in glissant for that reason alone. As of recently, I've been torn between whether B&M Glissant is slicker than MW. I'm slowly starting to believe that B&M glissant may have a slight edge over MW and might just be the best soap on the market at the moment, esp when super-lathered with Castle Forbes. Good luck nicking yourself with that mix!
I was one of the unconverted, as noted in a prior post. B&M was disappointing when I tried it a couple of years ago. Thanks to the lovefest here for the soaps, I shaved with Latha today, the lavender, oakmoss, heliotrope soap, using my ATT M1 with a new Rapira.
I'm now a full-fledged fan. If you want a tallow soap, it doesn't get better. And this was the bargain Latha line. So easy to lather, great slickness and cushion. Didn't dissipate. And I love the scent (I hated the barbershop scent of the plain Latha). Am eager to try Adagio.
