So, like most of you I guess, I have some light hair growth on the back of my neck. The barber usually cleans that up as part of a hair cut when I get one every 6 weeks or so. The thing is, I hate not looking cleaned up back there in between trips for normal hair cuts. My neck hair is blondish, not very dense and grows pretty slow. I would say cutting back there once every other week keeps me looking neat. Typically I ask my wife to use an electric shaver to clean things up. I would sort of prefer to be able to do it myself. Does anyone have any recommendations on what they do? I thought about using my DE but you can't really see to know what you are doing. Suggestions?
I use a handheld mirror in one hand that picks up the vanity mirror on my wall and a de razor in the other hand. Easy after you get the hang of it. Done my own buzz cut on my head and cleaning up my neck for years now. It's the one place in shaving that I actually save money lol

I typically have my wife edge the neck when I'm done with the head. (With clippers)
Might have to try that at some point.
Shave your whole head, and then, you don't have to worry about it. Seriously though, using a mirror would probably be most beneficial if you want to do it yourself. After time, the mirror will probably not be needed since you'll be so accustomed to cutting it. Prior to shaving my head, that's what I did.
To shave or not to shave, is that really a question?

In the shower. No mirror needed.
