B&M Gothique/Angelique

I am extremely disappointed that there are no samples of these two available at Maggard Razors as I really wanted to sample both before plunking down $28 apiece, not incl. shipping. Maggard stated that B&M sent no bulk container as they usually do in order to make samples with. I know I cannot be the only fella here who is hesitating as well. I don't want to get "burned" again on some eclectic scented soap with a fragrance so obscure that dogs & cats flee the area and hippies approach me. 

On another note, I had my first shave today on a new tub of Seville in Excelsior base and it was superb!! I swear I didn't swirl my Cashmere synthetic brush more than three times on the soap before getting enough lather for a couple passes!! I have never used a better soap base and a paltry few that equal it. It was the fifth shave on a Gillette Super Nacet blade and the shave was outstanding!! 

Samples might be available toward the end of this month and there was plenty of both made to last a while. No FOMO necessary.

Interesting that they would say that, considering that they explicitly stated that they didn't want them, at least to start with.

Miscommunication has nothing to do with it. I recommended to Maggard that they offer samples, but they decided against them for reasons unknown to me.

I was making a general comment on the roll out with Maggards. The Angelique splash shortage was just a few days ago too.

You would have been better off soloing this one.

Ha, I mean shit happens. Allot of guys with hiccups get slaughtered in threads while others don't. Any time you deal with distribution things can go wrong or not to plan. Being cosmetics I don't lose my mind for a wait but some do. I pride myself on being the hypocrisy barometer.

I will say that the Gothique line may actually be cursed from rolling out perfectly. I'm still trying to get my child proof cap off my two original bottles.

That's too bad about their decision not to offer samples. I was actually hoping to order samples of at least one, if not both. I need to slow down my software purchases, so I don't think I'm going to buy either one without sampling first.

There will be samples at the end of the month. I have no idea why samples come after the roll out but I assume it can only harm initial orders. I'm holding off as well needing only the Angelique splash. I'm hoping to unload one of my many tubs of scented soap for it.
