A few Personna Super Platinum Chrome blades arrived. I wanted to try them and see if they really are the same as the Personna 74s I remember.

Got this today (I already had the soap)...

Mail calls for August

I just received two jars of Acqua di Parma shaving cream. Unfortunately, although the seller on eBay showed an image of the old gold-lid version and confirmed in answer to a question that they were the ones with the word "Colonia" on the labels, what he sent me is the newer reformulated cream in the jars with brown lids. So I've had to start a return/refund case against him with eBay. Some of these people are such clowns - or crooks.

Added: The jars are on the way back to the seller, who is supposed to issue me a full refund.

I just received a couple Penhaligon's handkerchiefs. Since I don't normally carry a handkerchief in a pocket, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these. Maybe I'll use one as an eyeglasses cleaning cloth....

An iKon SE 90mm razor handle arrived. It is quite hefty and should make the Feather AS-D2 heads glide smoothly.

I just got some vintage Floris Elite shaving cream, which I'll probably use with the matching soap to make superlather.
