TO MODS:  I previously posted this thread in the Giveaway section.  However, I am getting so little response I thought I'd move it here.

To the first five active servicemen that respond with "I'm in, and I don't use Arko," I will send you an unused soap puck and some very good double-edge safety razor blades. If you have a preference of tallow or veggie [non-tallow] soap, please include it and I will do my best to comply.

After responding, please PM me your military address and I will inform you if you got in under the wire.

Looking forward to hearing from you, and stay safe!

Would you care to hazard how many homeless are service veterans? One of the greatest humiliations of being so is lack the of hygiene that creates another barrier with the rest of the population still one paycheck or stroke of a pen away from stealing their job, home, pension.

This is a very ambiguous sentiment in view of my post. Are you saying that what I am doing is not nice or generous enough? No need to clarify. In fact I would prefer you didn't.

If you find comfort in ambiguity and pleasure in taking affront where none intended enjoy. I merely pointed out an exponential expansion of your generosity to an appreciative and equally deserving veteran population you seem to have somehow overlooked in your enthusiasm. I myself have donated to date 11 DE razors, an equal number of modest brushes, countless soaps, cremes and even aftershaves to homeless veterans representing all five branches. THIS WAS DONE VIA THE LARGESS OF OTHER WETSHAVING ENTHUSIASTS'
DONATIONS.

KAV, please calm down. Teddyboy is trying to do something nice for our members who may be in active military service. He was open and clear about this. Certainly, your thoughts are heartfelt but do not have a connection to what Ted is attempting to do.

I certainly hope you get some responses Teddyboy.

If you don't get the response you want, but get at least one, in the past I've loaded up one serviceman with gear for his buddies after discussing it. But it's your donation and yours to do with as you wish. I would persevere, as you're clearly doing, until the giving makes you feel good. It's a falsehood to give until it hurts... one should give until it feels good. Or at least I think so, and it's up to you to determine that (or not) and no one else.

Kudus to what you're doing!

Terrific idea Brian.  I will definitely go that way if the responses don't start flowing.  Thanks.

I'm in and I don't use Arko...But I also do not have a physical address either as I am the limbo land of moving from Japan to CONUS.

I think it is awesome and hope other guys respond. Traditional shaving is gaining steam in the community I am in, but I am in the "alpha nerd" group so it kinda makes sense.
