It is unfortunate, but I was already able to pass it on to another member who hopefully will enjoy it as much as everyone else.
Jeff, have you ever tried Chatillon Lux's salves? They really are quite nice, highly nourishing and gentle I think. It may be able to give you the scent without the fire. The sensitivity to the cinnamon may be accentuated by the alcohol. You know, the fragrance combined with the burn of alcohol being amped.
I have tried the salve. A while back, I got one for my wife to use after shaving her legs. It was Le Jardin D'Odile. I think it was one of the scents that was geared towards women and wasn't offered in the toner or aftershave. hawns can correct me if I'm wrong. It's a great floral scent and I've used it a few times. I don't think its overly feminine. I'm just not really a balm guy so I don't use stuff like that very often. I much prefer splashes, but I can see what you're saying about the alcohol perhaps accentuating the burn.
You are correct. The scent was originally made for an ex-girlfriend whose preferred fragrance was DKNY Be Delicious, but I didn't like the green apple note. So I reimagined it with cucumber instead of green apple as well as some other tweaks (mainly dropping the violet leaf).
