Yesterday I said efficient. Today I say aggressive. I do not want to make any premature decisions. After all, it has only been 2 shaves. But, I am having my doubts.

Mark---Just be aware every new razor must be learned. I have sold a lot of razors too early and regretted it because I didn't give them a fair trial. Be patient, use a light touch and you will find the right angle and shave for yourself. My ATT SE2 will be here Saturday. I would give a new razor at least 20 shaves before I make a decision on it. What blade do you have loaded in it?

Totally agree. I don't want to make any premature decisions. It is likely just a matter of learning a new system/method. I feel most of the aggression around my chin and under my chin (the curvy areas). Not surprised given the larger size of the head.

I am using a Kai Captain Titan mild.

Much to my surprise, my ATT SE2 was delivered a day earlier than expected. Thank you USPS. I took it for its maiden voyage with a brand new feather-pro. I only use SE's now, but when I used DE's I used to love open combs. All I can say is thank you Stan for making an open comb SE------Brilliant shave, just brilliant. Big Grin

I am really struggling with the SE2. Haven't had a comfortable shave yet. I am starting to think this is a bit too aggressive for my taste. I might trade the baseplate for the SE1.

Which blade are you using? The nice thing with these razors is that you can fine tune the aggression by which blade you use.

Try using the pro-guard than--either feather or kai guarded---Did you get a sample pack from try-a blade?

Agreed. If the Titan Milds are efficient & too aggressive, then the guarded blades are about the only way to tone down the aggression from there.
