Here is my 1960’s 528 Atmos Clock finally fully restored after year and so for all parts to be replated and managed to get all necessary parts which are impossible to find and to get it going again.

I found one specialist in Bloomington, MN, USA Micheal T. Holman from Curt’s Clocks amazing restoration skills he is got and specialized specifically on Atmos Clock’s.

I’m very happy finally it’s here and hope will be working for next 20 yrs without Issues.

I’ll be making a nice Floating Shelf for it in UK as I know one woodworking master to make a unique shelf for it.

For those who may not know Atmos Clock how it works: inside every Atmos Clock is a capsule filled with ethylene chloride gas.

As temperature rises and falls, the gas expands or contracts, making the capsule expand or contract in turn..A slowly twisting wire used to produce isochronal oscillations in a clock is know as a torsion pendulum.

It’s a truly magnificent Time Piece and not to mention JLC is a watchmaker of watchmakers.

Kind Regards

Wow amazing shape of Atmos and well cared for  Happy2

Thanks to share it’s truly magnificent time piece.

My Atmos is a Family Clock that’s why I fully restored it and I’m making a shelf for it so nobody can reach to it or any kinda wobble to have.
