Atelier DURDAN Vestige pass around

Hey DFS friends. Augistin at Atelier DURDAN has generously offered his newest offering for a DFS forum pass around. The newest razor, named Vestige, is a GEM-style razor. 

The Vestige is offered in stainless, brass, and titanium. 
It features 3 aggression levels- classis, medium(+), and superior(++)
It is offered in 3 finishes- Sandblasted, basic polish, premium polish. 

Our pass around will feature the titanium model with all 3 plates for testing. Please limit your time with the razor to 1 week, and provide your honest feedback/thoughts/opinions for the plates you are comfortable trying. I will provide GEM blades from my stash but feel free to experiment with other brands and post what works best for you.

Razor has landed with all 3 plates. Small correction from the original post it does appear this is the stainless model. At 66 grams I’m not sure I would even opt for the titanium model

cornbread I’m guessing this is the new ‘basic polish’ finish. It looks like there are some machining marks visible, like the description of this finish says. Do you know? It’s interesting to see and hear about the finish because it is new and probably nobody has it yet.

Also, are you sure it isn’t titanium? 66g would be pretty light for a steel razor with such a long handle. Augustin hasn’t yet added the weights of the Vestige on his site but the titanium La Faulx with 14mm handle is 67g (steel La Faulx is 121g).

I’m not 100% I sent him a message. The head is definitely stainless. The handle might be ti I’ll check. The best comparison for the finish is H&S light polish. It looks identical. Can’t see any marks if you’re not zoomed in. Up close you can perceive some machining but all the corners and surfaces are smooth and shiny. No jagged edges.
