Precisely. I wasn't expecting a ground breaking shave, but just had to try to see. Like I said, shave results were good. The shave itself sucked.
Just for clarity and to make sure we're on the same page. My post about a decent shave was with the turn to open, butterfly model that used to be available and I don't know that it is anymore or not.

I more or less did follow you. I saw a video on a DT razor which I believe was a TTO. I never saw the TTO so I assumed it wasn't available anymore. I do appreciate the clarification.

If you want cheap and poorly made try some of those no name plastic Chinese razors on aliexpress that cost under a buck and around $2 shipped. I had one with a flip top that the handle would bend when you tried to put any pressure on it.
