It’s in the closed The Shaving Shop Club group for those who have a VIP membership. And even then, it can be difficult to find the latest posts, because – Facebook. Undecided

In any case, it seems Peter will soon be releasing two soaps (Club Baccara, The Graveyard) in the new K2 base, which supposedly has some improvements over the current Kaizen base.

Personally, I recently had a shave with the original Grecian Horse, and felt that everything about that experience was as good (if not better) than the Kaizen experiences I’ve had. That’s not a knock on Kaizen – I just think that improvements in soap bases these days are usually quite small, and not always easily detectable. (Then again, that’s the whole idea behind the kaizen philosophy; making small improvements instead of trying to accomplish drastic changes at once.)

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

The slight benefit I notice is in slickness.
