Yes, I think that CB is perhaps a little drying compared to the current so called "elite" PSF soaps now on the market. Then again, if anyone has dry/sensitive skin then they should be washing POST shave with a proper cleanser suited to said condition as well as using a top shelf moisturizer such as one made by CeraVe, Neutrogena, L'Oreal, etc.

In my lists, I do not include Caties Bubbles among my list of elite soaps. I only rate it at 8/10 on postshave properties. Elite soaps all rank 10/10 on everything I consider during my evaluation. However, I still consider CB to be excellent overall as scores well on other criteria. For most people CB would work well. With your dry, sensitive skin, I can see how you might prefer elite soaps, as do I.

I have to get a tub of this when available as I love A&E soaps as well as the scent description is right down my alley!!   Wink

The CB luxury cream soap base is really quite nice and I don't find it to be drying much at all.  I have to divulge that I have a mostly oily complexion, so don't normally notice drying effects from soap as much as someone with more sensitive and less oily complexion.

I was wondering if Ruds would have to give a score above 100 and he finally did. Congrats to Peter and I look forward to trying the new base.

I've never understood that ShaveScore ranking of Ruds ...
Can anyone relate what the number means?
I've read something today, but looks nobody (than Ruds) knows what It stands for.
Funny.

Yes, it's highly subjective at best. I like Ruds' videos as he is "Joe Everyman", but it is painfully evident that he gives wayyyyyyyy too much weight to PSF. Perhaps they banned moisturizers in his state.  Big Grin

Haha!

I honestly think back when he started doing reviews he just never figured soaps would become what they are today so instead of revising the past scoring system he just said screw it there’s no limit now.
