Would have bought it, if i didn't already have 3 bottles in the den already (Ice Blue, Musk & Spanish version). The new label has kind of a nice retro look. But would have been even better if they brought back glass.

Nice! I agree that glass would have been a nice touch. I did not know it was 100 years old!

Haven't seen that new label yet at my local store's. Walmart is carrying A V'S new 5 in 1 aftershave balm for sensitive skin. I bought one yesterday to try.

So is it the same formula they have had all those years? Because if it isn't ( and I think it isn't) then the only thing that's 100 years old is the brand name.

The parent company is Combe. From New York. Apparently only acquiring the rights to aqua velva in Oct. 2002. The website is very limited but does state it has not changed the formula. But, I do wonder. If you look up Combe on wiki, other brands listed raise an eyebrow.

I have heard that GLASS is much better. It is a good idea to change all colognes from plastic to GLASS.

The plastic container absorbs the scent of the cologne.
