I've decided to go with a 30mm Tuxedo knot, it will be available very shortly.

26mm is not in the cards as of right now, however I may reconsider at a later date Smile

Hey Folks!

Time to shake things up a bit! Available for preorder now are THREE new synthetic knots. Please enter coupon code **NEWKNOTS15** at checkout to receive 15% off all Pre-Orders (and regular orders of the Tuxedo too)!

ALL pictures on my shop have been updated too!

I've tried to describe them as best as I could on my shop, all being slightly different from each other;

Link to the shop:

https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/APShaveCo

The New Knots Are;

* 30mm Tuxedo - by popular request, same fibres as the 24mm Tuxedo, just bigger, and wonderful.

* 24mm Cashmere - I wanted to bring out an all white option that didn't have the springyness of the Omega knots, and this knot has quickly become my new favourite synthetic.

* 22mm Faux Horse - I had a lot of requests for a smaller knot as well. This knot is perfect for that vintage restore or those who love that precision of a smaller brush. Loved the look of this one as well.

Happy to answer any comments or questions!

Thanks everyone!

Excellent, I'm definitely placing an order! By the way, are all the fibers different (other than color)? Or are the white and Brown same fiber with different color? Thanks!

They definitely have different feelings, the Cashmere knot is one of the softest I've ever felt and the hair feels thinner and has a tad less backbone, whereas the faux horse knot feels stiffer and has more backbone, but is slightly less soft.

Hope that answers your question!

I went ahead and took advantage of the 15% discount and ordered a 24mm Tuxedo knot. I'm going to set it in a butterscotch handle from Whipped Dog. Should make a cool color combo.

I thought I had given up on synthetics, but since I sold my 24mm Plissoft, I realized that I miss it. Hopefully this brush will be an improvement on the Plissoft though. I know it will definitely look better!

Another “discount-advantage-taker-person” reporting here. Thought I’d start with the original 24 mm Tuxedo, although I’m also intrigued by the 30 mm as well as the upcoming Cashmere 24 mm. The knot is en route, now I just need to choose a handle…

I was lucky enough to talk to Jason Rudman and send him a few knots for testing, he's posted a (completely unexpected) review for each of the upcoming knots if you're intrigued about performance.

Thanks for sharing the links. Good videos highlighting some of the different qualities of the new knots, and knowing that Ruds is a friend of synthetics adds even more weight to the observations.
