We all like different things. The only way to know if it works for me or for you is to try it ourselves. I absolutely don't feel bad at all. I now know how I feel about all three Lupos.

Nah, no need to worry about that... I wouldn't have, regardless of my feelings for the Lupo. The $250 Henson was a bit high for my tastes. Would never buy a $400+ razor.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely understand that it's handmade (in the US). It's a lifelong (built to last) razor with a pristine finish and amazingly high tolerances. I'm not disputing it's worth. Just my willingness to pay that much. Lol.

So I took MaineYooper advice and switched out the (still good) Nacet for a Personna Comfort coated blade. It may actually be my favorite... I tend to change my mind a lot, lol. As usual, I went with the Henson TiMed. I grabbed my Trotter Handcrafts Lore brush (2BED Synth) and the Stirling Barbershop.

It was late, and I had a lot to do. Still, I forced myself to make time. I slowed down, took my time, and ended up with a great, comfortable shave. Three passes and some clean-up, all the while enjoying some very eclectic tunes.

In other news... Last night we took our eldest daughter to see where she'd be taking the Road test next week. It scares the hell out of me, the thought of having a daughter driving (see the video below). Still, it's a trade-off. Come the school year, it will definitly make things a bit easier, time-wise. I just need to keep praying.

If you had asked me a month before I got the Henson what my top price was, I would have probably said $100 (the 6s I had). It does seem to progressively increase, doesn't it.

Today I shaved with the cool looking injector, a gift from my buddy Eric. I popped a brand new Schick blade on it for my inaugural shave. It is stiflingly hot on Upstate NY, so I chose the cool, refreshing Ethos Greenfresh. As always, the Stirling Glacial Post Shave Balm get to the call (I have no others, lol).

It was a good shave, with no irritation. It's definitely not BBS, but I've never gotten that close of a shave from an injector. Still, it was smooth and easy going... A nice treat after a tough workday.

No much new on the home front. We are planning a vacation for sometime in the early Autumn. After we took the girls to Disney a few years ago, in September, we decided after school starts is the right choice. Crowds are much more livable then.

Very happy you enjoyed The Grip!

We went to Disney World in late April, and were still surprised at the crows. Nothing like the pics of summer, but still. We left very cool Maine temps (it actually snowed one last time the week before) to 80s in Orlando! Guess I didn't need my parka, ha ha!!
