Anyone know where I can acquire Tallow and Steel soap samples?

I've been wanting to try Tallow and Steel products for quite some time but now that my soap collection has reached maximum capacity, I have a rule that I must try a sample before purchasing any new soap. Some limited editions are exempt from this rule because life is short am i right?

Anyone know where I can get samples? They don't sell them on their website or at maggards. Would love to try out some of the new soaps using their latest formulation.

When I talked to Ryan awhile back, he told me that he does not sell soap samples, unfortunately, which is a shame as you never know if you will like the scents or not and to pay so much money for a scent you don't like can be disappointing.

What celestino says is accurate, the preparation of samples is incredibly labour intensive and its definitely a call every artisan has to make from a cost-benefit perspective. Maybe somebody could start a pass around of some T+S soaps.

They do find a way to make it work. Without samples.

Tallow and Steel, Talbot Shaving, Mike's Natural, Midnight & Two are all top tier artisan soaps that do not offer samples.

Unless I personally was willing "to scoop for a few months" I wouldn't tell someone how to run their business.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I've got nothing against artisans that choose to not provide samples. There's certainly some overhead associated with making/selling samples. I do however think a lot of us have reached "peak soap" and don't intend to keep or buy soaps that we're simply not in love with, considering the number of artisans producing amazing products.

I personally feel like I'm approaching soap burnout and it truly pains me to say it. My den looks out of control these days. It's unfortunate because I was really looking forward to purchasing King of Oud from WhollyKaw but now im reconsidering since minimum investment for me would be ~$50 USD if i choose to get the splash, and i know i would. If i get it and dont love it, I know I can sell it here or on the shaving_bazaar but its kind of a pain in the butt if it sits and doesn't sell/trade for a while.

All these new releases are making me anxious!!! There are plenty of soaps that I want but Im running out of room!

Maggard Razors will be handling samples of all of our soap scents. Look for them there in a few weeks!
