Anybody use L Occitane Cade soap?

I've only used the Cade cream in a tube and AS balm in a tube, I really like them.

Great stuff. I grated it into a tub and it has lasted me a long time. The after shave balm is also outstanding.

I like that idea. So you grate into a tub, then add to you lather bowl as needed?

After grating, you can press and shape the small flakes into a container so it is optimal for lathering. I think it's also a little softer as it has been "milled" again.

WHY?

Nice soap. Tad drying but like with many French soaps, these should last you a long time. Just don't be afraid to load your brush, the soap can take it. You can use a 28mm Badger or a Semogue boar and it wouldn't make much of a dent.

The tub is the Cade rich cream, excellent performance and has a pleasant scent. I wouldn't load directly off the tub because it's too soft. I just scoop an almond sized amount and start loading it on a bowl or face lather.

In daily use, a cake of L'Occitan Cade soap lasted about 6 months. Very slick, protective, really good skincare, and a wonderful scent. It gave fantastic shaves. It is one of the best soaps I gave ever used.
