See lots of posts on the forums about cold water shaving,Even read a few about using ice cubes, either in a scuttle w/water or as a cooling rub after a shave.I stumbled upon this by accident,I just bought a soap that was a little softer than normal, flirting in the realm of a cream actually.Under the advice of my wife(candle&tart maker)she suggested I put the tub in the fridge to see if the cold would firm the soap up since the main ingrediant was coconut oil and she assured me that the cold would would thicken the blend up(she was right for once, but I'll never admit it to her Big Grin)I let it sit in the fridge for 24 hours and got it out for this evenings shave and went right to it.Wow,after a hot day outside it felt really nice.May have to trade my den shelves for a fridge now since I was informed that the family fridge was off limits to soap storage, even during the summer months Cry.I swear, there is no compromise with this woman Big Grin.Give it a try guys,if you enjoy a cold shave.

Try putting your alcohol based aftershave in the freezer.
