I guess this is as good a place as any...

I ordered my Zenith boar brush a couple weeks ago, thanks to this thread verifying that Zenith makes Razorocks boar brush. Ive always maintained that my Razorock boar is my favorite brush, so I went ahead and ordered the 21mm in faux tortoiseshell, k.owing it would be the smallest brush in my den.

For starters, I ordered on a Friday afternoon, and jankdc still managed to get my brush in the mail that day, expedited, and it arrived thw following Tuesday. This alone is an amazing level of service. I have never received any products from any vendor this quickly, and I likely never will again. Top marks on that aspect.

Next, the brush arrived and was just beautiful. You do not find handles this attractive, with stainless trim ring, and gorgeous transluscence, for $12, anywhere else. Just a beautiful brush regardless of price, but for $12, its truly unbeatable.

Then...performance. soft and supple out of the box, zero odor, and from the first use it has only gotten better. The hairs immediately started to split and soften, without shedding. Splay is wonderful, lathering is easy as can be, and the lightweight, small size is pure joy compared to my 24-26mm brushes.

This small, inexpensive boar brush has rapidly earned its place at the top of my rotation. Between my Razorock boar in olivewood and this Zenith, the choice is impossible. The only downside is that my synthetics have not seen any soap since this brush arrived!

I coukdnt be happier with the service, the transaction, or the brush. Oustanding, every step of the way!

Thanks much Hector! I appreciate the feedback Smile.

And BadDad, that's how I felt about this style of boar. Something about the quality of the hairs and style of the knot is really appealing to me. The Zenith and ABC stand out among the other boars I have tried. Happy you are enjoying your brushes!

I will be adding a B1 to my stable. I only own a couple of very good Semogues, but this could be a regular in my rotation.

Do let us know what you think! The Semogues are nice but these are my favorites.
