Like to introduce myself ,I live in the Rocky Mountains in SW Alberta Canada . Learned to shave with a Slim back in the day and rediscovered wet shaving in Aug 2014 .When I was going through some family boxes I discovered my old Slim and some vintage razors from my Dad and Great Uncle. At that point was shaving with a brush and soap and disposables so I thought what the heck and went out and purchased some Wilkinson Sword blades at the local pharmacy (10 blades for $15 bucks) and took the Slim for a spin and really liked it .Went on the net to find cheaper blades and some info on products and discovered this whole world . Like many I now own multiple vintage and modern razors , soaps and brushes and enjoy shaving . Belong to a few forums and really like the information shared and the shaving /product discussions . Glad to be aboard.

Hey Bruce, where'd you find the picture of me and my brother?!  Ha ha, or in today's parlance lol.  As Canadians we've had to suffer the Bob and Doug McKenzie stereotype for quite some time now.  I think Bob and Doug are likely more representative of a small part of Ontario.  The term "hoser" was never really used outside of that comedic routine and while I will concede the use of "eh", its generally more subtle and understated than its been comedically made out to be.  It shouldn't surprise you to learn that people in the different parts of Canada can have about as much in common as people from the Ozarks have in common with people from Los Angeles.  Here in Alberta our necks are much redder than those out east.  We just had a federal election and the whole country elected Liberals but in Alberta we elected Conservatives.  Hell, we wouldn't have it any other way.

In any case, Glenn, welcome to DFS

The mouse in the beer gets me every time. SCTV was classic, I should dig some up and see if they still make me laugh.

Don't get me started on the election.....Conservative from Manitoba here.
