Wrong forum.

Then again, if you posted that on the right forum, you would get banned. Wink

True. However, once in a while there is a kind of tainted thread here too. Hmm, that sounds like a song title...

Well, I guess that is social media for you. Wink Remember CB radio, which self-destructed in the early to mid 1980s? That early form of social media had the same problems as Internet - anonymity and a large audience (i.e. The Greater Internet F###wad Theory or GIFT). Ham radio and The WELL, which are not anonymous, do not suffer from such behavioral problems. C'est la vie, I guess.

What happened to all the wetshaving forums anyways? They are like ghost towns now, even compared to other types of forums.

John, I laughed at this so much! Thank you for sharing, and yes, it is true for both the internet as well as our shaving forums.

I'm glad that for the most part it is not the style of our forum here. For me the cartoon was just a reminder to rein in my ruder instincts and keep trying to be a gentleman.

I generally do not post anything negative which has it's drawbacks sometimes but I do tend to disengage when I notice a pattern of negativity in the threads. It seems like there are some who enjoy a bit of back and forth but for what, sometimes I don't know that it is really over anything.
