Freddy - I agree with you that while the Kindle is a very convenient tool, there's something special about a physical book.

I personally find the dictionary feature to be an annoyance, as I frequently tap a word on screen by mistake and it gets on my nerves to have to click out of the dictionary all the time. Unlike certain presidents, I know what the meaning of 'is' is. Big Grin

Also, yes the Voyage is no longer made, but the refurbished ones are pretty nicely priced. The Oasis is still way too expensive. In a way, since the technology hasn't change much in the last few years, it's not a big deal for me to buy an older model.

I haven't found that problem with the dictionary, yet, Yohann.  In fact, I'm finding that I have to be pretty deliberate when pressing a word to bring up the dictionary.  If I'm just tapping quickly or swiping to turn a page the dictionary doesn't seem to pop up.

I know what you mean about the technology not changing that much and the Oasis being ridiculously overpriced (at least I think so).  If I continue to enjoy the Paperwhite, as I am now, then about the only thing that might have me get another in the next year or two is if they perfect and introduce some sort of color e-ink.  Buttons, while I am still curious about them, wouldn't be enough, in and of themselves, for me to upgrade.  Also, I doubt that I would drop a lot of coin on an Oasis or the like if that was the only way to get color e-ink.  (Of course, I'm the one who was never going to get an e-reader to begin with. The thing I like about reading on the Kindle is that I can change the page to black with white text. Much easier on the eyes, at least for me. Too when I take it for app'ts I know I won't be at the mercy of waiting room magazines that I don't give a hoot about. I have my magazines with me, or movies, or books. I didn't pay for the phone connection, mine only works through wifi, so I just download what I want to it and it's self contained. In some ways not as good as paper, and in other ways better.

I'm still holding out and sticking to the old ways. If, or more likely, when I do switch it will be because of the ability to enlarge the font. Damn.
