I've not tried Alt Innsbruck, but I have PAA Al Fin, which is supposed to be a clone. The scent, menthol and face feel are all impressive.

Same here. It feels and smells great, but unfortunately the scent doesn't hang around on me. I was sort of disappointed because it was my first PAA aftershave and they have the reputation of long-lasting scents. Oh well, body chemistry I guess. I still really enjoy it though.

Hey Jeff, if PAA is similar to Alt-Innsbruck but not as potent (I have not tried the PAA) you may want to give Innsbruck a shot- I find it to have great longevity. Very potent stuff!

Thanks Kevin, I will give it a try. To be fair, the first couple times I used the AI Fin, it did last a long time but then other times it was gone in a couple hours. Does Alt Innsbruck have a menthol blast too?

Hi Jeff, I love the menthol and it feels great on the skin overall as well. My only downfall was that it was so potent that I used the same amount of AS as per usual and it was too much for me (scent wise).

One of my favorite, balanced menthol blasts though. If you pick some up, look forward to your thoughts.

I used it for the first time recently and was quite impressed by how, instead of a big, upfront, in-your-face blast, it gives you a slow, steady and long menthol stream. Add in a great scent and performance, and I am definitely picking up a bottle soon.

Well put... as I wrote the description I wanted to use the term "bloom" to describe the menthol but the term is used so much re: soaps. Nonetheless, it just opens up consistently on application- really great stuff!

@wyzeone Hey Jeff, not sure if you picked up some Alt-Innsbruck but noticed that razorock has it on sale right now here at Italian Barber.

Just an FYI...

Hey Jeff [wyze0ne] I just realized I didn't "zero" you out on the name call.

I just double checked and it looks like the discount is no longer in place at IB unfortunately.
