I know, but I'm not really into pass-arounds.

I'm really interested in the razor and looking for the answers to my questions to proceed or not. It's simple.

I know there are buyers that can help me on the finish. I'm not looking for perfection, I'm not expecting a Wolfman at this price point, but I want to know if the light scratches I see are my idea or not.

Regarding the origin of the razor and the company, you don't have to be a buyer to know, but I can't find the answers anywhere. There are no info on WHERE it's made.

If anyone knows anything about these valid questions, please chime in. I want to buy it, but also want to know these info before making up my mind.

I think the owner is English but living in Hong Kong. I assume the razor is made in China or somewhere that way as he mentioned elsewhere they were being shipped to England.

Email Steve from the Alpha Shaving website or Phil at Bullgoose or send Steve a message on his Alpha Shaving Instagram account. I’m sure they can answer all your questions.

The polished finish on my razor looks pretty flawless.

Thanks for the info.

Shouldn't they have the origin info somewhere visible? Come on. Why they, maker and retailers, hide it? When a razor is made in the US and EU they're more than happy to let us know, for example countless "proudly made in the US" banners, but if it's made in China it's a secret? smh

I'm far from being a racist regarding the country of a product's origin but I want to have all the info available and decide for myself.

Anyway. Thanks again.

I always assume no indication means made in China, which is fine. None of my Chinese or Indian razors carry any indication of where they are made. It's not a secret but it's obviously not a selling point either, nor a legal requirement. It simply doesn't figure into the calculation for me.

In this instance I doubt that Steve has them made in Switzerland or Wisconsin for distribution from Hong Kong. Call it a hunch.

Mine I expect to arrive Monday.

If you’re still interested, Executive Shaving is selling the razor at an introductory price of $121.58 when I converted from British pounds.

I just realised that the maker is a member of this site. He can certainly shed some light if he wants to. We can get an official answer and don't make assumptions.

Vlasta where the razor is made? Is it made in China?

I'm a potential buyer and not just a curious member.

Why don't you just message Steve? He's also active on the ATG forum.

My razor shipped from Hong Kong on the 18th , arrived in NYC on 26th, I expect arrival in SoCal soon.

He's active on this forum too. A few hours ago he posted on the pass-around thread. I tagged him. It's the same as sending him a message. I'm not asking a personal question.

I'm sure it doesn't harm him to say where his razor is made in this thread, unless he doesn't want to. His choice.

The more info he offers, the more customers he'll get.

Info like this are essential for many people. I have yet to read this very simple info on a site. Retailers' and maker's sites should have it mentioned already.

As I said, when a razor is made in the US or in Europe, they mention it everywhere. Now the lips are sealed and all these info are hidden. Why?
