GD has not released the ingredients yet.

I just shaved with Kairos 4.9 this morning.  It is excellent.  It is firmer than 3.3 and 4.7 so it loads really easily without fear of overloading.

The slickness is off the charts!   After a pass, the small amount remaining on your face is slick and protective enough for another pass. You can buff all day long without fear of irritation and achieve that BBS we all love.  Post shave comfort is such that you don’t need a balm or after shave.  My face feels so moisturized I would want to use this stuff as a face soap when not shaving.

This is is an excellent soap for beginners or people with sensitive skin because it is amazingly slick and protective. It is also a great soap for straight razor shavers because the residual lather after a pass is still slick enough to repeat passes or buff without fear.

I just don’t see how it can get better than Kairos.

Thanks for the information and thoughts. I'll keep watch on this Kairos.

Seriously, Kairos is revolutionary - never used anything remotely as good. Tried it out of pure curiosity prejudiced towards DM, Malliard and Lusso; finished thinking I could live with this and Malliard- HELL Kairos alone

I've been thinking......
If Mo was to release a soap called 'Soon' it would be fitting and a nice inside joke to those who follow. Smile
But what would be a fitting scent? ?

Any update on the timing of the post-shave products?

Thank you for asking. The Rejuvenating Serum and the Hydrating Gel will be available along with the soaps during the next release. I hope to have The toner and a light balm sometime in April.

That's good to know.

As I write this, the Rejuvenating Serum web page is essentially blank, so could you please tell us a bit more about it?  I see that the Hydrating Gel is a powerful humectant, and the ingredients are listed.  What are the ingredients in the Rejuvenating Serum, what does it do, and how does it supplement or complement the Hydrating Gel?

Thanks Mohammad.

Hi HighSpeed Thank you for asking.

I have offered the serum for over a year now; it has done really well, thank you to all the loyal customers! This is the 2nd iteration of the serum. With this revision, I wanted to focus on a lighter texture and quicker absorption.

This type of serum is basically a concentrate of ingredients one finds in blams. Some moisturizing balms contain vegetable oils, but with a lot of stabilizers/emulsifiers (to mix the oil and water), texture enhancers, ingredients suspension, water aloe, witch hazel, etc...The serum is just made of carrier oils and extracts with no water, hence no preservatives are necessary.

Here are the ingredients:
Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Olive Squalane, Jojoba Oil, Moringa Oil, Kukui Nut Oil, Meadowfoam Oil, Broccoli Seed Oil, Safflower Oil, Abyssinian Oil, High Oleic Safflower Oil, Camelina Oil, Argan Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Avocado Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Blackberry Seed Oil, Calendula Extract, Radish Seed Extract, Pomegranate Seed Extract, Bisabolol, Tocopherols.

It's a flexible product. I have gotten to know, some people mix 1-2 drops, or more, depending on the skin type, with other post-shave products. It definitely can be used at other times of the day/night. It's unisex too.

Mo, could you please tell us more about the Hydrating Gel and how can it be integrated into the shaving routine? I presume it's better to use it after the Rejuvenating Serum, right?

I suggest applying the Hydrating gel prior to other products. I have had great results using it with a toner. Especially the GD toner coming in April Smile

Here is some info on the ingredients.

Sodium PCA
It is a naturally occurring humectant found in human skin. It has high water-absorbing properties, with the ability to absorb moisture from the air. It can also bind moisture to cells, and hold several times its weight in water.

Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a sugar found naturally in our skin that holds water and helps keep it hydrated and plump. It holds up to hundreds of times its weight in water. There are studies that it has benefits beyond just a humectant. There have been studies that show it has great benefits to wound healing

N-Acetyl Glucosamine
  • Increases exfoliation and can increase collagen production.
  • Increases hyaluronic acid production in the skin
  • Reduces the appearance of wrinkles
  • Reduces trans-epidermal water loss
  • Improves barrier function
Saccharide Isomerate
Good water-binding capabilities and emollient for skin, It has an extended effect, doesn’t wash easily.
