I got a set of Naniwa Specialty Super Stones for about $225, shipped. Came with 220, 1k, 5k, 10k and a stone holder.

They have a huge variety of stones including Shaptons Arkansas and Norton, plus strops of various types and DMT stones if you want to go that route...

I got my Naniwa traditional for about $40 on SRD.

Both SS and SRD are good places for Naniwa or Norton stones. I got mine from SRD.

Www.chefknivestogo.com has the Naniwa Traditional for a very good price shipped. Other stones also. Amazon is a good place if you time it right.
