I bought an H2 plate to finish off the set. I have only used it twice. The first shave did not go well, but I think I had a bad blade. The second shave was a lot better though. It's fairly aggressive, in my opinion, so I don't think I will be using it very often. I have tried the M2, R1, R2, and H2 plates. I traded the R1 for the R2. The R2 is my favorite of the 4 I've tried.

I much prefer the H1 to the H2, though not because I find the H2 any more aggressive. I think the aggressiveness is pretty much the same. I just don't like the way the sharp open comb feels on the skin. I much prefer my Fatip or MMOC comb design. I'm planning to put my H2 baseplate up for sale in the near future. I just don't enjoy it enough to keep it around.

Interesting. For me the H1 is a fairly fast 3 pass BBS that can be done without thinking too much. The H2 requires my constant attention.

OK, after using it for more than a few weeks, I can confidently say that if I had to sell off every razor that I have, the H1 would probably be the one left standing at the end. As it is I have no plans to get rid of any of my 15 or so razors. But I find myself using the H1 more than any other razor that I have.
