Last weekend ML, the dogs and I took a walk up Mt Prospect. There is a paved road to the top. About half way up it was covered with icy snow.

This is ML and the dogs are off lead as we so no other folks.

At an overlook the lack of trees melted all the snow. ML is taking pictures of the Presidential Range.

She took this of Mt Washington. At 6,288 feet it is the tallest mountain in the northeast. You can see the visitors center and the weather station.

I put the dogs back on lead as we approached the top. ML and I both   had carbide tipped walking sticks. Essential on this slippery service.

The top was clear of snow. This is the fire tower. I like that you can see a ski resort off in the distance.

This is the lovely ML - photographer except for this picture.

We had a lovely day. So did the dogs.

I have not been to New Hampshire in more than 60 years. However, the images of its beauty in my memory remain. Mary Lou's photos just helped sharpen those memories.
