1morepasswill (Will) suggested I visit The Gentleman's Groom Room if I made it up to Dundee.  On Monday, my friend and I were in that city so I checked it out and it was really a treat.  The owner of this wee shop could not have been nicer and the shop was filled with a lot of British classics as well as other goodies from the continent.  I just went in to look.  I really did.  So how come I came out £45.00 lighter?Tongue

Should any of you ever make it to Scotland (an incredibly beautiful country) then you might find this shop well worth a look.

Will and I managed our third annual meet-up in Glasgow and had a great time. He took me to a fantastic restaurant where we shared shaving talk, I got to see his Wolfman razor, and, of course, we set the world to rights. Winking

Great visit Freddy. Ian is wonderful to chat with. I love the Digress razors he commissions. One of the better brick & mortar stores out there in the home of marmalade. Have fun in Fife! Happy2

Thanks, Max, and you're right. Ian is wonderful to chat with. I saw photos of the Digress and was so tempted but managed to hold off. I did, however, walk out with three soaps, two for friends and one for me, and some moustache wax. His selection of colognes and eau de toilettes is quite extensive and he has them all out to try. Unfortunately, I try not to check luggage when I fly and that would be the only way to get a bottle home. I shall definitely try to make it back to the shop at some point.

Damp. Exactly what I expect Scotland to be Big Grin I also love the sign on the right "unsuitable for long vehicles" Here we'd just say "no long vehicles". Its always an adventure when you travel. Thanks for sharing, I'm going to put that shop on my list.

They make some awesome soap. While it is a glycerin soap, It's in my top 5. Love the scents!
