When I often head home to Ireland it takes half an hour or so to fully adjust to the new car, manual shift, left side of the road. I grew up with it but it still takes a quick adjustment.  

Same with razors. Soaps and brushes not as necessary.

Oh, and one of those razors is the Blackbird. Phenomenal shaver. Wink
I feel the same way about razors. I have 3–4 in regular rotation (two of them Blackbirds), and try to stick to a single one for at least a week at a time. I think the razor is the biggest factor, when it comes to consistency of shaves. The other variables (soap, brush, blade) just don’t have the same impact for me.
