A Banning in Two Parts

Hallows had two labels that were going down the correct path “I” wanted it to go.  The first was the skull with the red stripe, and the second was the side view of the skull label. The scent of Hallows and the performance makes it a f……g masterpiece. I want the next label so dark and disturbing people will say things even more angry than they spewed for the name “Massacre of The Innocents.” I want Will’s next label to stay true to Hallows, I want that image of the skull, I want eyes in the sockets of the skull, I want to see flesh coming off that skull because that skull is still attached and alive, lying there rotting from starvation. That’s the label for Hallows, the label needs to begin its transformation from a half living being, and in 2022 the label needs to be a hologram of transformation…… from what it looked like in 2021 to 2022. In 2023, the transformation goes immediately…. I’m going to keep that idea on the sideline, lol.

As a heads up, the B&B moderators do use criticisms from other forums to ban you on their forums. I’ve seen this happen to many a folk. It’s a shame as that’s where I started, but it is what it is.

Sounds like a pretty uncool way to operate....the British forums reacted the worst to my Tatara post.
They seemed outraged that someone would raise a problem with shipping ...which is unfair, considering
they are situated just 2 hours from Portugal by plane. Many asked me to be more patient because of Brexit
Then they started fighting among themselves on Brexit....very weird.

I love that label Jess, looks as though that person was running their mouth and received a knitting needle death? Maybe that’s the approach Will needs to take each year? Someone was running their mouth and KARMA took the reigns? You guys keep flashing images, I’ll keep the ideas flowing…..

OP. Don't take it personally. The Mods on the B&B (especially Chris) are dictators and tools who only care about trying to make money.

I was recently banned on the B&B Forum too, from none other than Chris "CleanShaved". He clearly takes a lot of pride in Banning members there for BS reasons.

Here's the story:

He saw some of my brush handle pics in the "Brush Making section" of the B&B. He must have thought they looked good because he did some independent internet sleuthing... only to discover I sell them on Etsy. I made no mention of my Etsy shop on the B&B forum whatsoever, but that didn't matter. Chris told me I must become a PAYING Merchant to post handle build pics and talk to other handle makers. The ridiculous "fee" to be a merchant on B&B is a whopping $600 for the first year and $500 for each year after. Lol. I obviously declined and told them I would not post any pics of my handles moving forward.

Not long after that, I was using my iphone Tapatalk app and saw where a guy I posted a pic of one of my handles and was talking about it. I replied to his post thinking I was on DFS (because that's where this gentleman and I always converse)... but actually I was replying on the B&B forum. Total accident and I was immediately banned. I send a message to the Mods there explaining my mistake while using the app, but they just ignored me and ya, I'm permabanned.

Fun times.

PS. I know there are a fair number of other DFS Members who have been banned on B&B for stupid reasons too. Anyone remember the Stirling Soap story on B&B? Proves my point that the Mods there are only out to make $$

late to post on this, but I participate in basically two threads there now. And I ALWAYS mention the handles when done by artisans like Stubble Daddy and Knothead . I don't think that is ban worthy, but when someone asks me about a handle, or comments on it, I typically point them to Etsy!

That stated, not confident of having high regard for anybody that hasn't been banned from Badger & Blade; it almost a badge of honour that any respectable man would be banned from that site, typically without the decency and courtesy of a heads up, opportunity to defend self nor appellate process.

That's pretty much what happened to me.  There are 2 or 3 posts just before the ban that I can think of that may have prompted it, but a ban for any one of them was still pretty baseless.

They're not vendor friendly unless you pay big bucks.

I signed back up on B&B mostly just so I can use the Emporium there. Had to jump through the usual hoops of creating a new user name, email address and changing my IP address… took about 10 minutes.

tell them all to sign up on DFS, lol...we're cheap and pretty relaxed here!

On my previous forum, the owners warned me that Mr Toothpick was digging thru all my posts so, Yes they do it for sure ! Sadly.....
