Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Scots Pine Sheep
Soap: Reef Point Peerless
Razor: Gillette “Black Beauty” Super Adjustable
Blade: Vintage Gillette Platinum-Plus (Shave #6)
Brush: Honey Farm Designs/TGN Premium Silvertip-24mmx50mm
Aftershave: Reef Point Submariner

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Reef Point Peerless today. 20 seconds to load the Honey Farm/TGN Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum-Plus still in the Gillette Black Beauty. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Reef Point Submariner aftershave.

There's no perfect match for the Ikon Tech head (I'd like to strangle the designer) but the titanium Halo works best for me despite the cosmetic mismatch. Balance point is a bit south of where it should be but the long handle makes up for that in usability In terms of efficiency the Tech is from another planet, best one pass razor I've used (including AC blade stuff). It cuts me on the left upper lip in exactly the same spot my E2 does, just its way of showing who's boss. [Image: 501f1b123bfaa4f04cf235189168d9d6.jpg]

Not particularly comfortable shave although the results are fine. Just couldn't get the lather I wanted out of the Williams. Did I lose my Williams mojo? Hope not. Anyway, I'm ok. Now go enjoy your day folks

Razor: ATT Aluminum Bamboo SE1
Blade: Schick Proline (D5)
Brush: Wolf Whiskers 26mm Synthetic
Bowl: TW 3D Printed Thank You @semperfi 45
Pre-Shave scrub: Lisa's Invigorating Eucalyptus
Pre-Shave Balm: Proraso Sensitive
Shave Soap: L & L Grooming 2017 DFS LE
Post: Monster Block Alum
Aftershave: L & L Grooming 2017 DFS LE

Looks great with those products Guy.  Happy
Thank you Doug.

I actually threw a curveball this morning and changed up the soap and aftershave. Opened the DFS LE soap and this morning, ad for whatever reason did not agree with me, smelled extremely floral but I believe this is citrus, rosemary, lavender based so I reached for Grooming Dept Voyage instead which was more of a deep lemon, musky, light spice sweet aroma. Cant describe this scent correctly but I like it. Overall a fantastic shave. Thick, slick lather and slippery as ice post shave feel.

Good morning  Freddiep318ti.

I see you have mastered the famed Kamisori razor. You are a true hero.

I have tried and so far, have failed miserably and bloodily.

I have, therefore proven without doubt your:

I now know adversity.  I am eagerly awaiting  my arrival of strength.

Hi Mickey!
Your not alone my friend. This one has bitten me a couple times. One time the full length of the blade! Key is not give up and go slowly. I found short, buffing style passes do best with a light touch. Definitely a different feel in hand than a standard straight

Key to facing adversity is never give up and keep pushing forward! Don't give up on it yet brother. Just takes practice.

Any tips or advice I can offer feel free to message me anytime!
Freddie

I like that attitude but I have a limited amount of blood.
As a diabetic I stab myself at least 9 times daily.
I failed the straight razor test several years ago.
I am sure I could do better if my face were two dimensions.

But I wont give up.
Every once in a while I get that uncontrollable lust for adventure.
