Reef Point Submariner today. 20 seconds to load the Turtleship Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette 7 O’Clock Green SS still in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Reef Point Submariner aftershave.

My new Apollo, 30's design but I believe post war production (c.1950). Started with a BIC but had to immediately toss it. I love the BIC blades when they're right but quality control is terrible. Switched to a second use Tian Li and sailed through a splendid shave. Simply a marvelous razor. Perfect weight, good balance, aggressive but easy to manage. And sooo good lookin'.

Decanter: Scrimshaw Whale Tooth (Full & Bye) Cologne 1974-1976 & Body Talcum 1979-1980

The last 2 days of this month are devoted to my 2 favorite Decanters. I am big fan of Moby Dick the book and movie.
There were six styles of Scrimshaw Decanters sold from 1974 to 1976 (Product ID 3835 or 3838). The bottles sported simulated scrimshaw depicting whaling or sailing imagery. Packaging was clear plastic with the decanter on a silver plastic base. Each decanter held 6 ounces of cologne. Some were sold in gift sets with a scrimshaw soap on a rope.

No, I have never used the brush. Mainly because there is a sticker on the other side of the handle which I don't want to disturb.
