Just Here for the Shaves

I stole Paul's mrdoug Post from last year to get this going again. I'm pretty certain I can beat last years abysmal showing but am willing to put myself out here to accept the ribbing, ridicule etc as I do my best. I'll start month by month and if I make it a month this time, I'll go from there

2022 2023 is just about upon us. Over in the journals, some of us have been discussing how flagrant our spending has been in 2021 (and, well, since we started really). Thus this idea was born.
A purchase sabatical, aptly named 'Damn Fine Restraint'. Several of us have agreed to commit to a month by month sabatical, starting with January. Others may choose to commit to the whole year long. Regardless, this can be a landing page for our support, encouragement, and ridicule. Wait... Did I say that?!
So post up, who's with me?! I'll be starting slow, promising to not buy any shave gear for the very long and painful time of January. The withdrawal will surely be as cold as the weather here in NY.
